Presets

Start from a known-good combination of vendor families, IPC tolerances, and build outputs. Every preset overlays on top of factory defaults — applying a preset overwrites the Libraries, Settings, and Build tabs but leaves your cross-links untouched.

Custom Edits in any later tab will mark the configuration as “custom”.

Consumer / commercial

Cost-optimised

Mainstream commercial passives at the lowest BOM cost. Loose-but-IPC-compliant pad math; full density-variant set so the routing engineer keeps options. Families not listed here ship disabled (toggle them on individually in the Libraries tab if needed).

  • Panasonic ERJ thick-film resistors (commodity, 01005–0805)
  • Samsung CL + Murata GRM commercial MLCC for multi-source pricing
  • Murata BLM ferrite beads + LQM multilayer chip inductors
  • Default IPC tolerances (F = 0.10 mm, P = 0.05 mm); HLCL standards unchanged
  • .PcbLib + .DbLib + STEP packaged; no standards PDF

Automotive-qualified passives only — Murata GCM and TDK CGA capacitors paired with Panasonic ERJ and Yageo AC thick-film resistors. Tighter F/P tolerances reflecting a pre-qualified assembly line. Density variant N picked across the board. Other families ship disabled in this preset; turn them on individually if your part list demands it.

  • Murata GCM + TDK CGA automotive-qualified MLCC
  • Panasonic ERJ + Yageo AC AEC-Q200 thick-film resistors
  • Murata BLM chip ferrites for power-rail filtering
  • F = 0.075 mm, P = 0.035 mm (qualified placement line)
  • Solder-mask sliver bumped to 0.12 mm for AEC pads
